San Diego Travel Tips! We are a six generation San Diego family. Thats right! One family member buried in the Pioneer Park in Mission Hills, very early 1800's. How nice of you to give thought to their memory. Through their efforts and dreams we have today the beautiful San Diego. What a paradise we have in our own backyard, with so much territory to discover! How do you find these places??? You're amazing. We had lunch at Miguel's in Coronado today and then walked up and down the beach.- such a beautiful day!! On the way over the bridge I remembered your Tip about a "secret" park over there - but of course I couldn't remember the details. We'll have to look it up, again!

I found your San Diego Travel Tips.com by chance and wasn't sure what to expect. I've been looking for things to do in San Diego but many websites don't say much. I don't normally sign-up for things on websites. Don't want junk emails and such. But, I have to admit I found a lot of information on YOUR site that I didn't expect. Great tips. We just spent a weekend at Hotel Solamar and it was PERFECT! The hotel and service were impeccable; we had never seen valet guys hustle like that! Surprisingly, given its location in the Gaslamp, the rooms were very quiet and we thought they were elegantly decorated. The rooftop bar is not to be missed. We loved the morning coffee and afternoon wine, too. We will definitely stay there again. This place is a winner! Thanks so much for the great tip for our weekend stay in San Diego.
