Here's what you can expect from the San Diego Padres promotional schedule for the 2010 season:
There will be a lot of giveaways!
17 all-fan giveaways, 12 kids giveaways, four fireworks shows, six Throwback Thursdays, four College Nights and three Heritage Nights.
Throwback Thursdays the Padres bring back the 1970s and '80s for six 3:35 p.m. day games.
College Nights (April 16, May 28, June 18, Sept. 24) will feature special discounts for college students.
The Padres' opening homestead (April 12-21) promos will be:
April 12 - Opening Day t-shirts for the home opener at 3:35 p.m.
April 14 - Military Opening Night - all branches of the Armed Forces will be honored. Military Appreciation Pricing for 2010 - includes $6 off avail. tix (originally $14 or more for regular season games). Military who attend Sunday regular season home games in uniform get 50% off any available ticket.
April 16- Padres magnet schedules and enjoy a postgame fireworks show.

May 2 - Kids 14 and under get picture frames and Photo Day
May 5 - Cinco de Mayo Celebration
May 30 - Kids 14 and under get Floppy Hats
May 31 - Memorial Day Fireworks New York Mets vs. Padres
June 12 - Fiesta con los Padres & Viva North County
June 13 - Kids 14 and under get batting helmets and a chance to run the bases
June 18 - Salute to the Negro Leagues
June 20 - Kids 14 and under get gloves and a change to play catch on the field
July 2 - Fireworks - Houston vs Padres
July 4 - Kids 14 and under get Padres T-shirts
August 1 - Kids 14 and under get backpacks and a chance to run the bases.
August 29 - Kids 14 and under get lunch boxes
September 3 - Action Sports Day
September 5 - Kids 14 and under get bat and ball sets
September 6 - Fireworks - Los Angeles vs. Padres
September 12 - Kids 14 and under get Hotwheels
September 30 - Kids 14 and under get Slinkies
12 Family Night - Saturday games with a new 5:35 p.m. start time including:
April 17, May 29, June 19, July 31, Aug. 28 - Bobblehead Nights
May 1 - Chris Young replica jerseys
May 14- "Beat LA" t-shirts
June 12 - "soccer-style" scarves
July 3 - Padres beach towels
September 4 - Padres aluminum water bottles on "Go Green Night"
September 11 - patriotic bags
