California Surf Museum
If you love all things surf-related, then head up to Oceanside, California. Originally, created and operational in Encinitas then Pacific Beach, the California Surf Museum is now in Oceanside. This is for all those amongst us who love the culture, lore, history, and language of the sport of surfing. The founders of the museum collect whatever they can that reflects, memorializes and embodies all things surfing. The purpose of the museum is to educate the museum visitors and celebrate the
surfing lifestyle. The museum is free for visitors but if you love it,
consider making a donation of some type. This is a great gift to the
surfing world, enthusiasts and to spotlight surfing's long history. Oceanside is, on a good day, about 45 minutes north of San Diego. The Coaster, does travel up to Oceanside.
