Point Loma Free Summer Concerts 2010
The residents of Point Loma gather every year during the summer to hear live music in Point Loma Park on the grounds of the Optimist Field, 1049 Catalina Boulevard. From the end of Interstate 8 (at Sunset Cliffs Blvd.) take Nimitz Boulevard and continue straight through the stoplight at W. Pt. Loma Blvd. At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto Catalina Boulevard. Cross Point Loma Avenue to the concert venue on your left (behind Fire Station #22).
There is free parking with free shuttle service, at Silver Gate Elementary School two blocks north of the park. To access the Silver Gate parking lot, follow signs from Catalina Blvd. to Orchard Avenue to Venice Street. Turn left into the school driveway. Shuttle operates from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Please note that smoking is not permitted. No glass containers, barbeques or alcoholic beverages. Dogs are allowed but they MUST be on leashes.
