Presidents Who Visited in San Diego
Believe it or not, San Diego has been a place for respite for the nation's presidents since 1891.
Two particular Commanders-in-Chief made repeated visits to our fair city. President Reagan always considered San Diego to be his lucky city and usually made it one of his last stops along the campaign trail.

During President Clinton's time in office, Coronado was a favorite haunt for him, Hillary and Chelsea. In fact, Chelsea was once accidentally knocked off her bicycle by a motorist who opened up the car door just as she was passing by. Poor Chelsea!
