Concerts on the Green in Downtown El Cajon
El Cajon's Concerts on the Green series begins on May 22 and ends on September 4, 2009. The free El Cajon concert series features live music and opportunity drawings. The events take place on Friday nights from 6pm-8pm at Prescott Promenade, Main Street between Magnolia Avenue and Claydelle Avenue.
This concert series has limited bench seating so we recommend you bring a chair or blanket. People are encouraged to bring their own food to the concerts. However, if you don't feel like making a picnic you can always dine at El Cajon's restaurants that surround the park. Since most of these restaurants have outdoor patio seating, you can enjoy the concert and dinner at the same time.
Please note that no drinking of alcohol is allowed in the park. The event organizers ask that you not bring your pooches with you (except if you have a service dog).
