San Diego Weather
San Diego weather? Fantastic. San Diego has thee perfect climate.
Talk about the weather? Yes, you will find that we are always talking about the weather. Sometimes it is as if we can't get over it ourselves. You will often hear people saying, "great weather, huh?". It can make San Diegans sound downright shallow. Yes, we talk, ad nauseum, about our weather but that does not make us shallow. We just love this place we chose to live. It comes down to one thing: San Diegan's know we have a good thing! We don't take it for granted. With every sunny day, we are in our shorts and t-shirts enjoying the outdoor lifestyle. What do you need to bring? Bring a sweatshirt or light sweater, throughout the year, because it does cool down in the evening. This is a relaxed place. Casual is pretty much the norm. Going to some nice restaurants? Business or resort-like clothing will suit you well.
The U.S. Weather Bureau describes San Diego's weather as the most nearly perfect in America.

The average year-round high temperature is 70ºF (21ºC). The yearly rainfall is light, averaging only 9.45 inches (24 cm), with most of it falling during the months of December, January and February. San Diego's warm and sunny weather is one of its main attractions. Winters are mild with temperatures averaging about 58 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius). Summer temperatures range between 70 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit (22 and 30 degrees Celsius).
CONSIDER THIS! May and June, otherwise known as, "May Gray" and "June Gloom" are our worst months. Those two months we are under overcast skies with possible late afternoon clearing. The temperature is still very mild but most of the daylight hours are under dreary gray skies. And yes, you will hear complaints from San Diegans bemoaning "May Gray" and "June Gloom".
