Do you ever just want to head out to the country where life is slower, nature is gracing the land with her glory and peacefulness rides the wind?

Hit the road to Tierra Miguel Farm. Tierra Miguel is about 1.15 hrs from San Diego to Pauma Valley. Pauma Valley is home to some of San Diego's agricultural lands. Take the I-15 or I-5 to Highway 76. Follow 76 east past Pala Casino, right on Cole Grade Road and a left turn on Pauma Valley Drive.

What is Tierra Miguel? Tierra Miguel is a demonstration project organic farm that is open to the public for the purposes of education. The farm has been in existence since 2000. At Tierra Miguel, you can just hang out amidst this lovely setting, learn about the science of organic farming, buy organic produce or even just stop and picnic while you wind around the country roads.

On the first Saturday of each month, Tierra Miguel celebrates their volunteers and invites the public to partake in some lunch, featuring organic products, and live music on the premises. Stop by and learn about organics, pick your own strawberries (seasonal) or just relax in the wide open spaces of Pauma Valley.
