Viejas Outlet Center for Shopping in San Diego
It used to be that outlet center shopping was relegated to the Palm Springs area and Los Angeles. Not any more. Many of the same designers (Ralph Lauren, DKNY) and brands (Black & Decker, Mikasa) have set up shop in various regions of the County. San Diego's outlet centers can be found as far south as the U.S./Mexico border (the busiest international crossing in the world), as far north as Carlsbad, and as far east as the Indian reservation of Viejas.
The local Convention and Visitors Bureau suggests that San Diego shoppers can hit two of these centers in one day. Now, why would any shopper worth their gelt in gold want to do a thing like that? Shopping is an experience in itself but outlet shopping is a treasure hunt. Savers like to savor the expedition, right?

The operators of Viejas do an amazing job in keeping the Outlet Center well maintained. Viejas took its natural surroundings and Native American theme in mind when designing the Outlet Center. The sidewalks guide its customers through the Center in a meandering way through small artificial creeks that have been built into the grounds.

There are also many benches available for people to take a break from shopping and sit a spell. They also have a very active dancing water fountain that is a sure fire hit with the youngsters. And for the over-21 years old shoppers, if the gambling itch gets you, the Viejas Casino is such across the street. How easy is that?
